Dr. Richard Armstrong has project and research experience in the seismic evaluation of dams and other water-resource structures. Specializing in computational mechanics and earthquake engineering, Dr. Armstrong has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at CSU, Sacramento in mechanics, computer programming, and earthquake engineering. Dr. Armstrong also serves as the instructor and administrator at Geoanalysis Support providing training and learning support on geotechnical analyses, especially using FLAC2D and FLAC3D. He has used FLAC software for over 20 years.
